Our beaches are complete ghost towns now.
It's beautiful this time of year, but I truly miss summer; I miss the bright sunshine.
These photos were taken at cape cod national seashore, lighthouse way.
Oyster digging. Good catch. Oysters rockefeller on tap!
How was your Thanksgiving food feast?
Mine was all about the pie, yes.
This tweet by the US Navy made my day.
They asked Naval families to #ThankASailor and I thanked my Gramps who was a survivor of
the USS Franklin when it was bombed 1945; it was one of the worst bombings ever, and my Gramps was one of the few survivors. The U.S.S. Franklin received four battle stars for World War II service. You can imagine how much this made my day.

I had no idea it was also 100% vegan; I was very impressed.

I loved Aunt Marie.
ReplyDeleteI hated a bad month.
Such a great story about your grandfather. That generation was something special.
ReplyDeleteThat cookbook sounds really cool. I do a lot of gf baking, but vegan baking is crazy hard.
Happy Thanksgiving - that is an amazing story about your grandpa. I love your photos of the beach dunes, bleak but beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI want that bucket filled with oysters! Hope your Thanksgiving was great - the pie looks tasty.
ReplyDeleteGreat links, great pictures! I love an empty beach. Although the lack of sunshine makes it seem even emptier, doesn't it? Fun stuff -- thanks.
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon. I use a class for compressing images when loading, which I wrote myself and never complained about it, but today some kind of mysticism started to happen ...
ReplyDeleteWhen loading PNG, it turns out to be nonsense, loading happens, compression also, but instead of just the image itself, it’s just a blot, it happens with absolutely any PNG image. I delve into the class for half a day, but still can’t solve the problem. Please tell me the PHP homework help. I would be very grateful for your help.
