friday links

Happy Friday!

I don't have a lot of photos to share this week as I've been strapped to my office desk working a lot of hours.
Which means I don't go out and play, research and discover new foods to eat things for you to see.
Yes really!

Please don't let summer end.
I'm not ready for snow, cold, snow, cold, snow, cold....
What exactly is the whole point of winter?
It's not like we NEED snow, or we NEED sub-zero temps.

Have you ever had the bucatini noodles instead of spaghetti noodles?
I had these noodles sitting in my cupboard for years wanted to try these noodles.
Really good.

What's been really popular on my blog this week?

  1. Reading the comments on your Thin Chocolate Chip Cookie post, I must agree with the readers who questioned your flour measurements. One cup of water is eight ounces. A cup of flour however can vary from 4 to 6 ounces depending on how you measure it. You might want to correct the measurements on that recipe. Thank you for having a lovely site. I check it every couple of days. The Tomato Cheese Pie is my family's all time favorite. And so easy! If anyone hasn't tried it yet, they should make it immediately.

    1. hello! it's not my recipe, it's from Top Chef.

  2. I am at that point where the extended weather forecast has clearly changed and I am dreading it. I'm still hoping to move before winter sets in. A girl can dream, right?

  3. I loved the Shakespearean insults. And I haven't been on Cake Wrecks in ages - thanks for the reminder!

I love your comments!
